An Evening with Tony Hiss: Protecting Half the Land to Heal the Earth
We are thrilled to partner with Western New York Land Conservancy as they host world-renowned author Tony Hiss, one of the strongest advocates for land protection in the United States, to discuss his seminal book Rescuing the Planet: Protecting Half the Land to Heal the Earth.
Please join us at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25th at the Montante Cultural Center on the campus of Canisius College for this unique opportunity to hear from one of the most important conservation writers working today.
This event is part of our community’s efforts to save the Floating Fen in Chautauqua County and create the Western New York Wildway. This event is free and open to the public, but donations to save the Floating Fen are always welcome.
Books will be available at the event courtesy of Talking Leaves.
