About the Author
Mang Ke: Mang Ke is a prominent Chinese poet and painter who started the underground literary journal Jintian (Today) with Bei Dao. He has published several collections of poetry in Chinese, as well as a novel and a volume of essays. He lives in Beijing. Lucas Klein: Translator and editor of CipherJournal.com, he has regularly reviewed books for Rain Taxi and other venues. A graduate of Middlebury College (BA) and Yale University (PhD), he is Assistant Professor in the School of Chinese at the University of Hong Kong.
